I read of the days when,

Jesus walked among men.

And He was betrayed by,

One of His friends.



His own disciple,

Judas was paid,

Thirty pieces of silver.

The deal was made.



Judas told the soldiers,

The plan men, is this.

The one you take hold of,

Is the one that I kiss.



So Judas betrayed Him.

The others all fled.

And Jesus was taken,

To die in our stead.



The grave could not hold Him.

He rose the third day.

We all can be with Him.

Some glorious day.
