I read in the bible,

About a young man.

His name was Daniel,

And He took a stand.

He bowed by his window,

Three times every day.

Though it was not legal,

He took time to pray.

They threw him to lions,

He stayed there all night.

The king came to great him,

At mornings first light.

The king made a decree,

That went all through the land.

That we all now will pray,

To the God that saved Dan.
